CCG event seeks to gather people’s experiences of end of life care and bereavement care

East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), in partnership with local providers of End of Life care, is holding a community event aimed at people who are at the end of life, as well as people who have either cared, or are continuing to care, for someone who has recently died or is dying.

The event takes place between 10am and 12pm on Tuesday 21st August at SportsAble, Braywick Sports Ground, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 1BN. Refreshments will be served from 9.30am onwards.

As commissioners, the CCG would like to hear local people’s experiences and views of what good end of life and bereavement care should look like. End of life care is care given to people at any time in their last year of life.

The event will be facilitated by the CCG’s End of Life Care Commissioning Managers, Laurel Sanderson and Jenna Gilkes. They will be joined by Rosie Fowler who is the End of Life Commissioning Manager for North East Hants & Farnham CCG.
