Dr Andy Brooks appointed as Clinical Chief Officer for the Frimley Collaborative
Dr Andy Brooks has been appointed to the role of Clinical Chief Officer for the Frimley Collaborative which comprises of three Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) – East Berkshire CCG, North East Hampshire and Farnham CCG and Surrey Heath CCG.
The post came into effect on 1 December 2019.
Prior to this, Andy was the Clinical Chief Officer for East Berkshire CCG and Surrey Heath CCG.
Andy’s appointment across the three CCGs comes as the NHS moves towards greater collaboration within the Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System
Andy is passionate about the integration of health and social care and is dedicated to designing services around the needs of individuals. Andy believes integration is the key to making a meaningful difference to people and those working on the frontline.
A single Clinical Chief Officer and Executive Team will allow the CCGs to have maximum impact by delivering health improvements across a large area, whilst ensuring that we remain sensitive to our local populations and partnerships.
The shared business of the three CCGs will be taken forward by a Collaborative Board and local teams will work with partners in their area to develop vibrant local places and ensure that there is a focus on local communities.
To support increased focus on local places (Bracknell Forest, North East Hampshire and Farnham, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Slough and Surrey Heath) the new Executive Team will consist of the following posts:
- Bracknell Forest Executive Managing Director
- Royal Borough Executive Managing Director
- Slough Executive Managing Director
- North East Hampshire and Farnham Executive Managing Director
- Executive Director of Quality/Nursing
- Executive Director of Development and Improvement
- Executive Director of Finance
- Executive Medical Director
