In Slough we have 16 Practices of which most have an active Patient Participation Group (PPG). Click here for details.
The Slough Patient Reference Group (PRG) is made up of representatives from the Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) across Slough practices and is supported by East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The reference group share patient perspectives, information and implement best practice for their respective surgeries. They also support the design and delivery of work programmes for Slough in conjunction with East Berkshire CCG. The PRG also support the CCG in communicating key messages with individual practice Patient Participation Groups (PPG) and with the wider community.
The meeting is organised by East Berkshire CCG and is chaired by Colin Pill (from 240 Wexham Road PPG).
The Network meets bimonthly.
To keep patient groups updated of any key developments, campaigns, and other news in between the meetings, the CCG has introduced a monthly Patient Group Bulletin which is proving popular and has since been rolled out to the other two localities. Copies of the bulletin can be found to the right of this page.
