In the Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead (WAM) area there are 17 GP practices. Click here for GP Practice details.
The WPNG is made up of representatives from the PPGs across the Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead (WAM) practices. The WPNG works as a forum for sharing best practise from their respective GP practices, as well as feeding back on NHS services and supporting the design and delivery of work programmes for the WAM area in collaboration with East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group. The WPNG also support the CCG in communicating key messages with individual practice Patient Participation Groups (PPG) and with the wider community. At the 2017 CCG AGM they hosted a stall promoting membership of PPGs to attendees.
The WPNG is supported by East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and is chaired by Michael Shefras (from Datchet PPG). The Network meets bimonthly.
To keep patient groups updated of any key developments, campaigns, and other news in between the meetings, the CCG has introduced a monthly Patient Group Bulletin which is proving popular and has since been rolled out to the other two localities. Copies of the bulletin can be found to the right of this page.
Below are the agenda, minutes and presentations from the WPNG meetings.
