IMPORTANT NOTICE : Amendment to CCG’s AGM agenda

Please note that there has been a change to the East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) Annual General Meeting (AGM) agenda, which takes place on Tuesday 17 September at Windsor Racecourse, Maidenhead Road, Berkshire, SL4 5JJ.

The format of the meeting will now be as follows:

1.30pm – 2.30pm

Marketplace and registration in the Castle Suite

The marketplace will be themed around ‘Delivering the best care for local communities’ and there will be stalls demonstrating the work of the CCG and its partners

2.30pm – 4pm

AGM formal meeting will take place

This will cover the accounts and achievements of the CCG from April 2018-2019. You will also hear a presentation on the CCG’s Strategic direction and key objectives relating to the NHS Long Term Plan by Dr Andy Brooks, Clinical Chief Officer for the CCG.

We would like to make you aware that there will no longer be a workshop about Primary Care Networks (PCNs) during this part of the meeting. Instead, the Primary Care Networks for the three localities in East Berkshire – Slough; Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead; and Bracknell and Ascot, will have a stall in the marketplace where you will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the networks.

In addition, there will still be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions at the end of the meeting. We ask that questions are emailed in advance to Eastberksccg.enquiries@nhs.net

Dr William Tong said: “We have a lot to be proud of in East Berkshire and this event is an opportunity for us to showcase some of our work which is helping to make a difference to the lives of many patients.”

He added: “I would encourage people to attend this meeting to understand how and where we are focusing our efforts on making a better and stronger NHS, as well as to meet our stakeholders in particular Primary Care Network Clinical Directors from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. The annual report is available to download from our website and I would encourage you to look through it.”

“I appreciate the timing of the meeting may not suit all due to work and other commitments. However, people can tweet us questions on the day itself, or send them in advance by emailing eastberksccg.enquiries@nhs.net. ”

There is still time to register your place at the AGM by clicking here or by visiting https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/nhs-east-berkshire-ccg-annual-general-meeting-agm-tickets-64957976055
