Join NHS East Berkshire CCG staff and clinicians at this year’s AGM
If you live in the east of Berkshire and are interested in knowing how healthcare is improving locally, as well as hear about plans for the future, then why not pop along to NHS East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCGs) Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September.
The meeting will take place on:
Date: 17 September 2019
Venue: Windsor Racecourse, Maidenhead Road, Berkshire, SL4 5JJ United Kingdom
While we have a statutory duty to hold an AGM, which covers the accounts and achievements of the organisation from April 2018-2019, we would like to take this opportunity to engage and hear from you. There will be a marketplace themed around “Delivering the best care for local communities,” and stalls demonstrating the work of the CCG and its partners from 1.30pm, with the formal meeting taking place from 2pm. There will be an opportunity for questions from the floor at the end of the meeting. If you have a question, please email it in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org.
At 3pm, when the formal part of the AGM is completed, there will be a workshop about Primary Care Networks. This session will give participants the opportunity to learn more about Primary Care Networks, understand which network their practice may be part of, and feedback on what they have heard. The discussion will be locally focused. There will be representation on the day from Primary Care Networks. More information about this will be shared closer to the event.
Dr Tong said: “We have a lot to be proud of in East Berkshire and this event is an opportunity for us to showcase some of our work which is helping to make a difference to the lives of many patients.”
He added: “I would encourage people to attend this meeting to understand how and where we are focusing our efforts on making a better and stronger NHS. The annual report is available to download from our website and I would encourage you to look through it.”
“I appreciate the timing of the meeting may not suit all due to work and other commitments. However, people can tweet us questions on the day itself, or send them in advance by emailing email@example.com. ”
