Pharmacists

Pharmacies can treat a lot more than you think!

Diarrhoea / headache / sore throat / painful cough / runny nose / minor illnesses / upset stomach / skin conditions

Your pharmacist is a healthcare professional who can provide clinical advice and treatment for these common conditions as well as dispensing prescriptions. They provide confidential, expert advice and treatment for a range of common conditions and will be able to help you decide if you need to see a GP or other health service.

No appointment is needed, and many have separate consulting rooms for completely confidential advice.

Many pharmacies are open until late and at weekends. You don't need an appointment – you can just walk in.
